Title: Aeronave ultraligera de propulsión solar

Abstract: An aircraft is described that uses solar photovoltaic energy as a propulsion system and also meets various design criteria (legal, dimensional and energy) and flight characteristics that ascribe the aircraft of the present invention within the solar ultralight aviation sector. By means of the aerodynamic profile of the invention, it provides a limited flight range and autonomy with solar irradiance conditions of 1000W/m2 and a cell temperature of 25ºC; and an autonomy of at least 70 minutes and a flight range of 110km in the absence of solar radiation; and because, in addition, it is capable of maintaining a maximum speed in a straight and level flight regime of at least 110 km/h using only the power contribution of its photovoltaic system in these conditions.
